The BCRA Has Signed an Agreement on Financial Education with Institutions from the Province of Chubut

The President of the BCRA, Miguel Pesce; the Chancellor of Universidad Nacional de la Patagonia San Juan Bosco (UNPSJB), Lidia Blanco; and the General Manager of Banco del Chubut (BCH), Gustavo González, have signed an agreement for cooperation aimed at strengthening and promoting financial education.

This agreement streamlines training programs for professors and students from UNPSJB. It also provides for educational actions through certified courses aimed at groups with specific needs, such as retirees and pensioners, social security beneficiaries, informal workers and people who lead or work in micro, small and medium-sized companies in the Province of Chubut.

The agreement provides for the signing of supplementary arrangements between the Financial Regulations Deputy General Management Office of the BCRA, the School of Economics of UNPSJB, and the General Management Office of the BCH for the development and implementation of financial education and inclusion actions.

Walter Carrizo, Vice Chancellor; Julio Ibañez, Dean of the School of Economics; Daniela Tomelin, Academic Secretary; and Lucas Atucha, Secretary of Graduate Programs, attended the meeting on behalf of UNPSJB. Carlos Gelvez, Head of the Human Resources Management Office of the BCH, also attended the meeting. On behalf of the BCRA, Daniela Bossio, Financial Regulations Deputy General Manager; Gastón Repetto, Financial Inclusion Senior Manager; and Mariano Iglesias, Financial Education Manager, were also present.
