The Central Bank Museum was dressed in light blue and white for the exhibition Minting a dream: the Argentine world champion team, a chronological and thematic tour through coins and numismatic pieces that reflect the passion for soccer in Argentina.

In an environment that recreates a stadium, the exhibition proposes a historical journey through the commemorative coins that the Central Bank issued on the occasion of different editions of the FIFA World Cup: Argentina 1978; Germany 2006; South Africa 2010; Brazil 2014; Russia 2018, Qatar 2022 and in addition to the one corresponding to 2026.

The exhibition also brings together numismatic pieces from different countries that honor the achievements and trajectory of the Argentine National Team, including specimens minted in precious metals.

The exhibition invites you to enjoy a unique experience: the entrance recreates the tunnel to the field of play, the showcases where the numismatic pieces are exhibited are located like the players in the match, you can enjoy videos and animations made with artificial intelligence and, at the end of the tour, there is a selfie point so that everyone can take pictures next to the World Cup.

The exhibition can be visited in the hall on the ground floor of the Central Bank Museum, located at San Martín 216, Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, from Monday to Friday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
