2018 FIFA World Cup Russia
Argentina participates in the International Commemorative Coin Program of the 2018 World Cup Russia with the issuance of a coin minted by the Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre – Royal Mint of Spain, whose characteristics are:

Obverse motif
On the obverse, the picture of the player in motion with the soccer ball can be seen in the foreground; in the upper arch “FIFA WORLD CUP RUSSIA 2018TM”.
Motif on the back
The reverse illustrates part of a playing field, in the center it reads “ARGENTINE REPUBLIC” flanked by two stars that symbolize the Argentine triumphs in the world championships of that sport in 1978 and 1986; in the exergue it presents the face value “5 PESOS” followed by the year of minting “2018”.
The presentation includes a case, acrylic capsule and certificate of authenticity.

Design
The main imprint on the obverse shows, with the repetition of the silhouette, the trail that the player imprints in the air as he dominates the ball in his run across the field of play, creating the illusion of speed.
The reverse represents on the field of play the concept of duality in balance with the complementary opposition, where the presence of one half of the field (for example, the one that contains the two stars that symbolize the tournaments won by our country) is essential for the existence of the other. Spaces demarcated by contrast and differentiated by textures, like philosophical principles in constant harmony, territory where both rivals dispute the contest and break all that symmetry with a single ball.
