Reverse design
The design depicts the Argentine goal scored in 1986, which is widely regarded as the greatest in World Cup history. This coin commemorates the 40th anniversary of the buildup to the goal.
The symbolic face value of $10 (ten pesos) is displayed in the center circle of the field, and the year of minting, “2025,” in the lower part. The upper arch reads “BANCO CENTRAL DE LA REPÚBLICA ARGENTINA” (CENTRAL BANK OF ARGENTINA), and the lower arch, “COPA MUNDIAL DE LA FIFA 2026™” (FIFA WORLD CUP 2026™).
