Application for Claim of Potentially Apocryphal Bills (SRA)
Know the steps to upload a Request for Claim of Potentially Apocryphal Banknotes (SRA) to the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic (BCRA).

This procedure allows financial institutions, securities transporters, and exchange houses and agencies to make the Request for Claim of Potentially Apocryphal Banknotes. In addition to making the presentation (SRA), entities will be able to make queries in the system.

The procedure is free of charge.
How to submit the claim
- – First stage: the presentation begins online through https://apocrifos.bcra.gob.ar
- – Second stage: after completing the first stage, an appointment must be requested to make the physical presentation at the Central Bank (delivery of SRA, retained copies and the corresponding minutes).
- – Notification: at the end of the administrative procedure by the BCRA, an email will be received notifying compliance with the SRA.
- – Opinion: once the SRA has been completed, the Opinion and the details of the accreditation of legitimate banknotes can be consulted online, accessing the system.
First stage: steps to follow
- 1- Log in with a username and password in https://apocrifos.bcra.gob.ar
- 2- Select: “Pres. Billetes Pot. Apocrypha”.
- 3- Complete all the data on the tab on the withholding entity.
- 4- Complete all the data on the tab on the retained banknotes.
- 5- Complete all the details of the bearer of the ticket.
- 6- Select “Save”. Once saved, it will generate an SRA number.

Additional information
What is the deadline for performing the SRA?
Within 30 working days of the date of the deed of retention of the potentially propropriphal banknotes.
Can a submission be entered after 30 days?
Yes, for minutes with a withholding date prior to 30 days, a notice will be displayed, requesting the entry of a comment to inform the reason for the delay in filing.
What is the maximum number of minutes that can be uploaded per application?
The maximum number of minutes allowed is 50.
Can I make changes once the presentation has been saved?
Yes, once all the necessary data has been entered, the status must be changed to “Pending to Close” and returned to “Save”.
The status: “Pending to Close”, allows you to review the SRA information but not make changes. To make changes, it is necessary as a user to restore the status: “Open”. Then, the procedure is available again to make modifications.
