How to submit notes and documentation to the BCRA, by email or in person, through the Entry Desk, and obtain the file number.
What is it?
The Entry Desk of the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic (BCRA) receives notes and documentation, either by email or in person, to refer them to the competent areas for analysis and response.
Who is it for?
To all persons, agencies and institutions that need to submit notes or documentation to the BCRA for formal processing.
Modality
You can submit the documentation in two ways:
– By email, sending the note and supporting documentation to the box provided.
– In person, at the BCRA headquarters, during the established business hours.
Value of the procedure
The procedure is free.
There is no fee charged for the submission of notes or documentation through the Ticket Desk.
How is it done?
1. To draft the main note addressed to the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic, with:
– scanned handwritten signature or valid digital signature, and
– Date of the day the mail is sent.
2. Convert the note to PDF format and attach it to the email.
3. Fill in the minimum data in the main note:
– Name
– Last Name
– Type of identity document
– ID number
– Phone number
– Email box
– Theme
– Order Detail
– List of attached documentation
4. Attach the supporting documentation, if applicable.
Allowed file types: .jpg, .xls, .xlsm, .txt, .doc, .ppt, .png, .pdf, and .msg.
5. Send the email to: mesadeentrada@bcra.gob.ar
About sending by email
If the note and documentation exceed 20 MB:
– In the first email, attach the main note (with signature and date), and send the remaining documentation in additional emails.
– In the subject of the email, indicate the sending sequence, for example: “Submission of note – email 1 of 5”, “Submission of note – email 2 of 5”, etc.
It is not allowed to send links for downloading documents or files. Documentation must be attached directly to emails.
How to submit a note in person
The documentation can be submitted at the BCRA Entry Desk during business hours.
To do so:
1. Bring the paper note, in original and copy, addressed to the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic.
2. Present an identity document, in original and copy.
3. Indicate an email box and a contact telephone number, which will be registered for communications related to the procedure.
Presenting files on storage devices
If you need to accompany the note with digital files on a storage device (for example, pen drive):
– Devices will be accepted in which the folders: do not exceed 25 files, or do not exceed 150 MB in total.
– Devices must not contain compressed folders (e.g., .zip or other similar formats).
– Files must have a clear, unambiguous, non-repeated, and numbered name for easy identification.
Confirmation of the file number
For both email and in-person presentations:
Within 24 working hours after receiving the documentation, you will receive the assigned file number in the indicated email box.
With that number you will be able to identify the procedure in future queries or related presentations.
