Retail exchange rate

This page presents the benchmark retail exchange rates published by the BCRA for the purchase and sale of foreign currency.

The bid and ask rates, both at the teller counter and through electronic transactions, are recorded in the system by each reporting institution. The BCRA does not set these values, but calculates the benchmark retail exchange rates offered in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires weighting the exchange rates reported by adhered institutions based on their share in retail sales in the three calendar months prior to the month immediately preceding the current month.
