Request signature certification

What is it?

It is the procedure to obtain a signature certification issued by the Current Accounts Management of the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic, intended for individuals or legal entities that need to present documentation with a certified signature to other entities or agencies.

Who is it for?

The procedure is aimed at:

– individuals (natural persons), and

– Legal entities

who need to certify signatures on documentation to be presented to third parties.

Modality

Online management: start the procedure by sending an email with the digitized documentation.

Face-to-face management: attendance at the headquarters of the Central Bank to formalise the certification and, subsequently, pick up the certified documentation.

Value of the procedure

The procedure has a cost, depending on the type of applicant:

– Legal entities: $110

– Individuals: $70

What is needed?

To apply for the signature certification, the following is required:

• – documents to be certified in digital format;
• – Name and surname of the person who will carry out the procedure;
• – ID number;
• – contact email address;
• – Contact telephone number.

How is it done?

1. Start the process by email

– Prepare the documents to be certified in digital format (scanned or photographed legibly).

– Send an email to ctas.ctes@bcra.gob.ar
indicating:

• – first and last name;
• – ID number;
• – email address;
• – telephone number;
• – Documents to be certified attached.

2. Receive payment and appointment data to formalize the certification

Once the information has been verified, the Current Account Management sends the following email address:

– the bank account details to make the payment of the fee, and

– A turn to formalize the certification at the headquarters of the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic.

Make the transfer or payment according to the data received, keeping the receipt to present it if required.

3. Formalize the certification at the BCRA headquarters

Present yourself on the assigned date and time, at the address indicated, to formalize the signature certification.

4. Pick up certified documentation

Once the certification has been made, the applicant receives an appointment by email to pick up the certified documentation issued by the Current Accounts Management.

It is also recommended to check the spam folder if there is no response in the main folder.
