Procedure to request class transformation before the Central Bank
Description
Find out the steps to follow, the necessary documentation, the regulations under which the procedure is framed and the contact details to apply for Class Transformation: commercial banks, cooperative credit unions and other financial institutions.

To individuals or legal entities that want to request class transformation before the Central Bank.
How to do it
1- Prepare the documentation
In accordance with the Harmonized Text of the rules on “Authorization and composition of the capital of financial institutions” the documentation is:
- Copy of the minutes of the extraordinary shareholders’ meeting in which the transformation project has been approved.
- Report approved by the administrative body that considers the following aspects: grounds on which the initiative is based, modifications to be introduced in its organization, demonstration of the possibilities of integrating the minimum capital required for the new class, draft reforms to be introduced in its bylaws and business plan and projections.
2- Complete the form
Upload the requested documents in PDF (with a maximum of 50 MB per file and a resolution of 150-200 dpi).

3- Check the email box
The Financial Institution Authorizations management will review the application and send you an email indicating that you can continue to the last step.
4- Present a note at the ticket desk
Once you have received the email with the confirmation, you must submit a note signed by the legal representative of the financial institution or promoter, which states:
“all the documentation presented in the application is a true copy and that the originals are available to this Superintendence of Financial and Exchange Entities.” point 6.4.5., Section 6. of the TO Authorization and composition of the capital of Financial Institutions”
The note will be addressed to the management of Authorizations, Superintendence of Financial and Exchange Entities and must be submitted from Monday to Friday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the ticket desk (Reconquista 266, Autonomous City of Buenos Aires).
