Registering in the Registry of Securities Transporters

Procedure to register a legal entity that provides land transportation of securities services in the Registry of Securities Transportation Companies of the Central Bank of Argentina (BCRA).

What is it?

This is the process by which legal entities, whether or not they are financial institutions, are registered in the pertinent registry to carry out land transportation of securities.

Who is it for?

To legal entities that must register in the Registry of Securities Transporters of the BCRA.

Modality

Submit the documentation through the BCRA’s of the BCRA, according to the instructions available in the institutional site.

Value of the procedure

Free.

What is needed?

In accordance with the Orderly Text on Securities Transportation Companies, the following information and documentation must be submitted by the providers of securities transportation services.

 

Data of the legal entity

  • – Contact information.
  • – General data of the entity.
  • – TAXPAYER IDENTIFICATION CODE (CUIT).
  • – Name.
  • – Legal address.
  • – Registered office.

Data on human persons

  • – List of partners, associates and/or shareholders holding 5% or more of capital, participation and/or votes, with the corresponding certificate of criminal record issued by the National Registry of Recidivism.
  • – List of the members of the administrative body, with their corresponding criminal record certificate issued by the National Registry of Recidivism.
  • – List of the members of the supervisory body and senior staff, with their corresponding criminal record certificate issued by the National Registry of Recidivism.

Documentation

  • – Note signed by the legal representative of the entity requesting registration in the Registry of Securities Transporters.
  • – Bylaws or social contract.
  • – Last annual balance sheet, statement of net worth or statement of assets.
  • – Detailed description of the services to be provided.

How is it done?

1 | Gather the required information and documentation

Compile all the data of the legal entity and human persons indicated, together with supporting documentation.

2 | Submit the application through the Intake Desk

a) Draw up a note signed by the legal representative requesting registration in the Registry of Securities Transporters.
b) Attach all the documentation indicated.
c) Submit the application through the Intake Desk, in accordance with the instructions for submitting notes to the Intake Desk.

3 | Address the BCRA’s observations

a) The documentation is reviewed for validation.
b) In case of formal faults or requirements, corrections or clarifications will be requested.
c) All communications are sent to the email address declared by the entity.

4 | Receive confirmation of registration

Once the requirements have been met, the Superintendence of Financial and Exchange Institutions (SEFyC) notifies the registration in the Registry of Securities Transporters.

Where is it held?

Through the BCRA’s Front Desk, in accordance with the instructions for submitting notes to the Front Desk.
