Summary
Immediate “push” transfers
Managed by networks: 223.3 million immediate “push” transfers were made for $6.1 trillion, which translates into year-on-year growth of 112.9% and 24.5%, in quantities and amounts respectively. 60.3% of the total had a CVU as its origin and/or destination, reaching $134.6 million operations.
Intra PSPCP: immediate intra PSPCP money remittances reached 104.3 million transactions (154.4% YoY) for $408.6 billion (88.3% YoY).
Payments by transfer (PCT): interoperable QR exceeded 9.4 million transactions.

Transfer payments reached 198.8 million operations for a total of $787.1 billion, made up of 15.7% interoperable payments and 84.3% intra-PSPCP payments, while the amounts represent 22% and 78% respectively.
Interoperable PCTs: reach 30.3 million operations (47.4% YoY) for a total of $171.9 billion (-8.2% YoY).
-Initiated with QR: 31.1% were initiated with interoperable QRs, representing more than 9.4 million payments (309.6% y.o.y.) for $31.9 billion (255.2% y.o.y.). 81.2% were made by customers who used their demand accounts and 18.8% their payment accounts. Likewise, 62.5% of merchants credited demand accounts and 37.5% in payment accounts.
-POS starters with card credentials: 40.2% of payments were made through the reading of debit card credentials at a point-of-sale (POS) terminal, reaching 12.2 million transactions (17.5% YoY) and $94 billion (-11.3% YoY).
-Initiated with random keys: 12.7% of transactions used a token for their initiation, 3.9 million (19.8% YoY) to 17.4 billion (0.5% YoY).
-Initiated with a payment button: 15.9% originated in web operations, reaching 4.8 million payments (3.8% YoY) and $28.5 billion. (-47.7% YoY).
PCT intra PSPCP: reached 167.5 million payments for $ 614.3 billion, with
-Initiated with QR: they accounted for 17.9%, with 29.9 million transactions (129.6% y.o.y.) for $93.9 billion (87.6% y.o.y.).
-Initiated on the web: they correspond to the remaining 82.1%, with 137.5 million (203.2% y.o.y.) of operations for $ 520.4 billion (143.2% y.o.y.).
Payment accounts and funds invested through the PSPCPs: 15.3 million payment accounts were registered in March with a total balance of $101.9 billion, while the balances invested in FCI of money reached $200.8 billion. Both concepts, considered together, represent 1.62% of the total deposits of the private sector, which was $ 18.7 trillion in the aforementioned month.
Immediate Debit (DEBIN): immediate debits increased by 4% compared to the previous month with a growth of 81.8% YoY, reaching 24.5 million operations for $311.4 billion; in terms of the number of transactions, 0.4% corresponds to occasional DEBIN and 99.6% to recurring DEBIN.
Direct debit: 11 million debits (3.6% YoY) were made for $257.3 billion (-7.5% YoY), with an effectiveness rate8 that reached 53.1%.
Cheques: 63% of the cleared amounts correspond to ECHEQ.
4.4 million checks (physical and electronic) were cleared for a total of $2.6 trillion. ECHEQ’s share of the total number of cleared persons reached 36.6% in quantities (1.6 million electronic checks) and 62.9% in amount ($1.7 billion).
Rejections for reasons of “insufficient funds”: the relationship with the total number of compensated parties evidenced, in this report, a slight decrease in the rates, reaching 0.87% in quantities and 0.60% in amounts.
Cards: the use of debit cards remains above credit cards.
Debit card: 193 million transactions were made for $895.7 billion, representing variations of 16.9% YoY in amounts and 2% YoY in amounts.
Credit card: year-on-year variations of 8.4% in amounts and -0.7% in amounts, with 115.7 million payments being made for $1,097.6 million.
Prepaid transport cards: 399.9 million trips were made (6.3% YoY) using the SUBE card, totaling $12.8 billion (3.2% YoY).
Electronic Invoicing for MSMEs (FCEM): in the month of March, 89.4% of operations were carried out in pesos, with 138.7 thousand invoices entering the open circulation system (SCA) for $ 270.4 billion.
ATM withdrawals: 94.1 million withdrawals were made from the 17,426 ATMs for a total of $1,171.9 billion, with the average number of withdrawals at each ATM being 5,394. The average monthly amount reaches $12.5 thousand.
