Week dedicated to financial education for children and young people

The BCRA will hold financial education workshops in different cities in the province of Mendoza, will receive guided tours at the Museum and will publish trivia on banknotes, numismatics and financial education on social networks.

Today begins the week of #GlobalMoneyWeek with the purpose of making visible the importance of generating early savings habits, promoting financial inclusion, promoting dialogue and increasing knowledge on issues related to money management and offering planning tools to achieve objectives and projects among children and young people.

Between March 25 and 31, all the entities invited to participate will carry out activities under this theme such as visits to museums, workshops and informative talks.

For its part, the Central Bank, as the leading agency in Argentina, will hold financial education workshops in different cities of the province of Mendoza, will receive guided tours at the Museum and will publish trivia on banknotes, numismatics and financial education on social networks.

This initiative is joined by 37 entities such as provincial ministries of education, commercial banks, foundations, schools, start-ups, banking and fintech associations, among others.

Global Money Week is an international campaign involving more than 150 countries and has been carried out since 2012 by the non-profit organization Child & Youth Finance International.
