The exhibition of the IX BCRA National Painting Award travels across the country

Neuquén is the first destination of the itinerant exhibition. The exhibition will display 32 selected works of artists from all over the country who have participated in the contest, as well as the work of art “Mobile Bleu Sur Blanc” 1960/1995 by Julio Le Parc, winner of the Great Award for Distinguished Artists.

Neuquén is the first destination of the itinerant exhibition. On Tuesday, April 25, the 2016 BCRA National Painting Award will be displayed at the Gregorio Álvarez Museum, located at San Martín 280, Parque Central, city of Neuquén. Opening hours are Tuesday to Friday from 8 am to 8 pm, and Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 4 pm to 8 pm until end of May. Admission is free.

The exhibition will display 32 selected works of artists from all over the country who have participated in the contest, as well as the work of art “Mobile Bleu Sur Blanc” 1960/1995 by Julio Le Parc, winner of the Great Award for Distinguished Artists.

The works of art to be displayed were chosen by the jury, composed of Rafael Cippolini, Silvia Gurfein, Oscar Smoljan, Tulio De Zagastizábal and Mercedes Casanegra, with the curatorship of Eva Grinstein.

The exhibition will continue its tour across the country, arriving at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC) of Salta in June, and at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MAR) of Mar del Plata in August.
