As from Wednesday, May 23, the BCRA will take part in the swap round of the SIOPEL at the electronic securities and foreign currency trading market (Mercado Abierto Electrónico SA, MAE).
Transactions within the round will be conducted from 10 am to 5 pm and settled on t0, t+1 and t+2. LEBAC bills will be offered at a fixed price. The price for each bill corresponds to the amount in pesos that the counterparty will receive or pay in terms of every face value of 100.
In all transactions in which the BCRA participates, the settlement will conducted by the Center for Registration and Settlement of Public Liabilities and Financial Trusts (Central de Registración y Liquidación de Instrumentos de Endeudamiento Público, CRyL).
The BCRA will carry out debits and credits, in that order, both in pesos and in securities, at 5 pm on the settlement date.
