The Board of Directors of the BCRA today ordered a new reduction of the lower limit of the LELIQ interest rate by 3 points, from 55% to 52%.
The decision was adopted in accordance with the progress in the negotiation table of the National Agreement, the Agreement of Careful Prices and the upcoming modification of the terms of the LELIQ in the search for the definition of an interest rate curve in pesos.
This is the third casualty ordered. The first drop had been on December 19, from 63% to 58% and the second, on December 26, from 58% to 55%.
