The Bank of the People’s Republic of China and the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic today renewed their bilateral currency
swap agreement The Bank of the People’s Republic of China (PBC) and the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic (BCRA) have agreed today to renew their bilateral currency swap agreement for a new term of 3 years. The first agreement between the two central banks was established in 2009. A second agreement was signed in 2014, which was supplemented at the end of 2015 with a supplementary agreement.
The new agreement will continue to strengthen the relationship between the two central banks and encourage the strengthening of financial conditions to promote economic and trade development in both countries.
