The BCRA launches a tool that provides streamlined, direct, and customized access to SECOEXPO system information

The BCRA launches a new consultation tool for exporters of goods, aligned with the ongoing process of modernizing and streamlining procedures in public administration. This new tool provides streamlined, direct, and customized access to all the information available in the system for the follow-up of proceeds from exports (seguimiento de cobros de exportaciones, SECOEXPO).

By logging in with the taxpayer password on the website of the Customs Control and Collection Agency (Agencia de Recaudación y Control Aduanero, ARCA) and accessing the new service called “BCRA – Follow-up of Foreign Trade” (“BCRA – Seguimientos de Comercio Exterior”), exporters can check the status of all their shipping permits, permits with certification of compliance, non-compliant permits or permits with upcoming deadline. In addition, exporters will be able to make other customized inquiries and easily download the results.

This tool provides exporters—particularly SMEs—with a simple method to directly monitor the status of their transactions and access the latest information provided to the BCRA by Customs and/or by the financial institution responsible for monitoring.

This tool further contributes to enhancing transparency and control in foreign trade transactions. It also marks a significant step forward for the BCRA, aimed at reducing the administrative burden on exporters and financial institutions, improving information quality and traceability, and fostering a more agile and efficient operating environment for all players of the sector.
