The Central Bank of the Argentine Republic provided, through Communication A6853, that users of financial services will be able to prove their identity to operate within branches using the National Identity Document that is downloaded to the cell phone.
The use of the telephone will be allowed only at the time when the bank staff asks the user for their identification.
The digital document is a tool developed by the Ministry of the Interior that allows, through a free application, to have the DNI on the phone with the same functions as the DNI card.
Cell phones can also be used inside banks for employees to promote, install or explain to customers how to use the mobile banking or payment applications that the entities have made available to them.
