Public holiday: no banking or foreign exchange activity

Bank branches all over the country will be closed to the public on September 2. Electronic channels will operate as they usually do on public holidays.

The BCRA informs that today bank branches all over the country will be closed to the public due to the public holiday ordered by the Executive Branch.

Electronic channels, such as online banking, mobile banking and ATMs, will operate as they usually do on public holidays so that consumers may conduct the following:

• Instant transfers

• Money transfers

• Transactions through QR codes with an e-wallet or bank app

• Transactions on debit cards

• Transactions on credit cards

The BCRA will ensure the availability of banknotes.
