Presentation of the PIF 2019 in Córdoba

The city of Córdoba hosted the 2019 Financial Innovation Program at the Universidad Siglo 21. In the PIF, the Central Bank together with the National Securities Commission (CNV), call for the generation of digital tools and solutions

Yesterday, the 2019 Financial Innovation Program was presented at the Universidad Siglo 21 in the city of Cordoba, especially aimed at students, graduates and teachers of the Accounting and Business Administration careers.

The University offered interested profiles this instance of dialogue with the Central Bank where it was proposed to set up virtual and face-to-face work teams that will receive advice in the development of a business project or program.

On behalf of the BCRA, Santiago Vieites, from the Financial Development Management, attended to talk about the objectives of the PIF 2019, what are the participation requirements and the details of each instance of the Program.

In the PIF, the Central Bank together with the National Securities Commission (CNV), call for the generation of digital tools and solutions based on these challenges:

• Complementary Agencies | To promote the development of complementary agency services through the use of technology.
• Mobile & Home Banking | Improve the user experience in mobile banking and internet banking through technology.
• Digital Validation | Use biometric identification to validate banking and capital market transactions.
• Financial Education | Apply technology to develop interactive content to bring the population closer to financial concepts – banking and capital markets.
• Regtech | Apply technology to compliance with BCRA and CNV regulations.
• Market Infrastructure | Apply technology to make the infrastructure of the financial system and/or the capital market more efficient.

Projects and ideas will be received in this form until Monday, July 29 inclusive.
