The Central Bank of the Argentine Republic (BCRA) makes available on its website all its monetary and financial statistical series in open format, in order to facilitate their processing with the most widely used applications today. In this way, from today the possibility of downloading large volumes of data in “txt” format is incorporated.

As part of the process of opening monetary and financial statistics to the community, the BCRA implemented this way of accessing information in a simple, agile and downloadable way, allowing users to point their own data analysis tools to the URLs that identify each of the open format files.
These files contain the groups of historical series available and the corresponding URLs are included next to the title of the thematic tabs, contemplated in the new design of the page to facilitate access to the multiple series.
Such facilities help to ensure the accessibility of all the series of historical monetary statistics available, both to the general public and to those users who are interested in processing large amounts of data.
