The BCRA reminds exporters, within the framework of its regulations, of their obligation to bring the proceeds of exports of services into the country, as established on September 1, 2019, under Communication A 6770.
The regulation specifically states that the proceeds for services carried out by residents to non-residents must be brought into the country and exchanged in the forex market within 5 business days from the date of collection either abroad or in Argentina, or the date of deposit in a foreign bank account.
This regulation applies to all exporters of services including consulting, tourism and design, among other segments.
Any breach will be punished as provided for in the Foreign Exchange Criminal Regime as of the date stated above.
