A new regulation was published on the BCRA's financial education platform: Salary accounts for private household personnel.

With the aim of promoting the opening and greater use of salary accounts for staff in private homes, the third regulation is incorporated into #SaberEsCentral, the financial education platform of the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic (BCRA).

In this new content, information is provided on the possibilities that each person who works in private homes, as well as those of those who employ them, have to open a salary account in the bank of their choice to collect and deposit the salary, respectively. The benefits of using the free electronic means of payment provided by this product are also detailed. The objective is for employees to be able to incorporate new financial skills that result in benefits for their daily lives.

One of the BCRA’s main responsibilities is to promote tools and services that promote financial inclusion. #SaberEsCentral then becomes a key tool to increase people’s financial capabilities and, consequently, the economic development of the population.
