Guido Sandleris opened the Financial Stability Board meeting

Guido Sandleris, Governor of the BCRA, opened the 16th FSB Regional Consultative Group for the Americas, and presented the work carried out jointly with John Rolle, Governor of the Central Bank of The Bahamas.

The Governor of the BCRA, Guido Sandleris, opened the 16th Financial Stability Board (FSB) Regional Consultative Group for the Americas meeting held in Buenos Aires.

Sandleris is the co-president of this working group together with the Governor of the Central Bank of The Bahamas, John Rolle.

Among the participants were Enrique Szewach, Member of the Board of the BCRA; Randal Quarles, member of the Board of the Federal Reserve and President of the FSB; Rupert Thorne, Deputy Secretary General of the FSB; and authorities of central banks and ministries of finance and the treasury of the region. The FSB Regional Consultative Group for the Americas holds two annual meetings to monitor the state of the financial system and to assess global initiatives for financial stability.
