In the framework of the Common Market Council, the Governor of the BCRA, Guido Sandleris, and the Minister of Economy, Nicolás Dujovnea, attended the Meeting of Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors of the Mercosur, which is held every six months. This time, the province of Santa Fe hosted the meeting.
The encounter took place in the framework of the 54th Summit of Heads of State of the Mercosur. In this Summit, Argentina will hand over the Pro Tempore presidency of the Mercosur to Brazil.
The BCRA engages actively in the Meeting of the Macroeconomic Monitoring Group (GMM) with the participation of the Economic Research and International Relations and Agreements Senior Management Offices, and in the Macroeconomic Dialog Commission through the Economic Research Senior Management Office.
