The President of the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic, Guido Sandleris – together with the Minister of Finance, Nicolás Dujovne – participated in the Meeting of Ministers of Economy and Presidents of Central Banks of Mercosur that is held regularly at the end of each semester and is part of the Common Market Council. The meeting took place in Santa Fe.
The meeting took place within the framework of the 54th Summit of Mercosur heads of state. In this event, Argentina will pass the Pro Tempore presidency of Mercosur to Brazil.
The BCRA actively participates in the Macroeconomic Monitoring Group (GMM) through the Main Management of Economic Research and International Relations and Agreements, and of the Macroeconomic Dialogue Commission (ADM) through the Main Management of Economic Research.
