The Central Bank of the Argentine Republic (BCRA) established a new extension, until November 8, 2020 inclusive, of the suspension of the foreign exchange and financial summary proceedings instructed under the terms of the Foreign Exchange Criminal Regime Laws No. 19,359 and Financial Institutions Laws No. 21,526, respectively, without prejudice to the validity of the procedural acts that are carried out in said period because the intervention of the prosecuted.
The new Resolution No. 814/2020 declares the days of October 26 to November 8, 2020 inclusive of this type of action as non-working days.
The extraordinary fair is excepted from the provisions and enabled ex officio, resuming the procedural deadlines, with respect to:
• Financial proceedings conducted under the terms of the Financial Institutions Law No. 21,526 in which the sanction established in Article 41, paragraph 5 of the aforementioned Law, with the scope mentioned in point 7 of the Summary of this Resolution, was imposed or will be imposed as of the entry into force of this resolution.
• The foreign exchange proceedings conducted under the terms of the Foreign Exchange Criminal Regime Law No. 19,359 with the conclusion of the case for finality.
