Anyone interested in publishing their academic essays in the Ensayos Económicos is welcome, their papers contributing towards an enlightened debate on economy and political economy in Argentina.
Ensayos Económicos (Economic Essays) is the BCRA’s academic journal aimed at publishing economic papers which deal with the Argentine and the international economy from a theoretical, empirical or applied policy viewpoint.
This journal is indexed by a series of economic publication databases, namely: Núcleo Básico de Revistas Científicas (Central Database of Argentine Scientific Journals) of the Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET) (National Council for Scientific and Technical Research); EconLit of the American Economic Association; EBSCO and RePEc (IDEAS and Econpapers). Additionally, this journal has been widely distributed among local and foreign academic fields, government agencies, central banks, public and private research organizations and specialised press.

Essays submitted for publication will be subject to a peer-review process consisting in a revision made by two anonymous reviewers who will assess the general characteristics of the essay, such as originality, significance, and methodology.
