The BCRA has appointed a representative to the Integrity Network of the Anti-Corruption Office for the first time. This is an institutional area for cooperation among public agencies to promote programs on prevention, transparency and public ethics. The BCRA’s representative will be Carla Lorena Cambellotti—Manager reporting to the General Management Office.
This decision reinforces the BCRA's commitment with the Anti-Corruption Office, boosting constant and smooth communication and invigorating the authorities’ commitment to develop the guidelines on good governance and transparency at the BCRA. The representative is responsible for promoting—internally in each institution—the following actions:
-Implementation of strategies to raise awareness and provide training on transparency, ethics, and anti-corruption issues.
-Monitoring of the issues sent by the Anti-Corruption Office.
-Promotion of the compliance with international obligations and recommendations on anti-corruption, reporting the progress made to the Anti-Corruption Office.
The Integrity Network became institutionalized for centralized and decentralized public administration agencies, as part of a system that promotes mechanisms for horizontal and vertical cooperation among public officials, institutions and agencies. This network is being progressively implemented in the jurisdictions and institutions that are part of the National Public Administration.
