Banks open this weekend with extended hours

The branches will serve only retirees and pensioners. Two extra hours are added to the usual schedule at closing, from Saturday 4 to Wednesday 8.

The Central Bank of the Argentine Republic (BCRA) resolved, through Communication A6953, that financial institutions throughout the country open their branches between Saturday 4 and Wednesday 8 during their usual hours, adding two more hours of attention at closing, for the payment of retirements and pensions, according to the following schedule provided by ANSES:

According to the last number of the National Identity Document (or other identity document according to the rules on “Valid identification document”)

Pending collection for the month of March and non-contributory pensions

Saturday, April 4 – 0 and 1

Sunday, April 5 – 2 3

Monday, April 6 – 4 and 5

Tuesday, April 7 – 6, 7, 8 and 9

Benefits for the month of April

Saturday 4 April – 0 and 1 non-contributory pensions

Sunday, April 5 – 2 and 3 non-contributory pensions

Monday, April 6 – 4 and 5 non-contributory pensions

Tuesday, April 7 – 6, 7, 8 and 9 non-contributory pensions

Wednesday, April 8 – 0 retirements and contributory pensions of less than 17,859 pesos

As of Monday, April 13, the schedule announced by ANSES continues.

On the other hand, it is reported that from now on the Emergency Family Income (IFE) is only collected at ATMs.

In addition, the BCRA has initiated summary actions against financial institutions that have not provided the service according to the circumstances.
