The Governor of the Central Bank of Argentina (BCRA), Guido Sandleris, held various bilateral conversations with his peers in the context of the bimonthly meeting of Central Bank Governors at the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) in Basel, Switzerland.
Sandleris met with Elvira Nabiúllina, Governor of the Central Bank of Russia; Yi Gang, Governor of the People’s Bank of China; Alejandro Díaz de León, Governor of the Bank of Mexico; and Juan José Echavarría, General Manager of the Bank of the Republic of Colombia. In the meetings, Sandleris and his peers talked about the international economic situation and the economic developments of their countries.
The Governor of the BCRA also participated in the traditional Global Economy Meeting. He also met with the General Manager of the BIS, Agustín Carstens.
