The BCRA presents the commemorative coin of the 2018 World Cup Russia at the exhibition called “Football: a Multitude’s Passion. A Selection of the World Cup Commemorative Coins” that can be visited as of today at the Héctor Carlos Janson Numismatic and Historical Museum.
The coin, minted in 925 silver “proof” which is the quality used for collectibles, has a face value of $5. Its obverse has as its main motif the player in movement and the reverse represents the playing field with two stars, symbolizing the Argentine triumphs of 1978 and 1986.
This
coin, with which Argentina participates in the FIFA International Commemorative Coin Program along with other countries, is available for sale to the public at the numismatic stand (Reconquista 250, PB, CABA) from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
