Growth, Productivity, and Inflation
NOVEMBER 16 AND 17, 2026
PALACIO LIBERTAD, NATIONAL AUDITORIUM
AUTONOMOUS CITY OF BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA
After decades of instability and economic stagnation, the elimination of macroeconomic imbalances presents Argentina with an opportunity to define a path of sustained growth for activity and employment. This edition of the Money and Banking Conference will explore the economic factors and structural reforms that can help expand the country’s productive capacity, boost business productivity, and raise households’ real income.
Panelists will review the progress made in the reform and modernization process of the Argentine economy, and identify the opportunities and challenges posed by the current global context. They will also examine the experiences of countries that underwent similar processes, highlighting public policies that contributed to their success. In addition, they will present advances in economic theory that help explain the nature of the dynamic process involving human capital, domestic savings, private investment, and economic development.
