Purchasing Value Unit (UVA)

The UVA is a unit of account in pesos that is updated daily according to the CER. Its initial value was 14.05 pesos as of 03/31/2016. It is expressed in pesos to two decimal places. A daily series is published monthly from the 16th of the current month to the 15th of the following month. It is used, for example, in mortgage loans and other financial contracts.
