LIBRARIES
The Dr. Raúl Prebisch and Tornquist Libraries preserve and provide access to the BCRA’s bibliographic and documentary heritage in the fields of economics and finance. Their collections and reference services support research and institutional management, while providing specialized information to the academic community and the general public.
Prebisch Library
The Prebisch Library provides specialized information on economics—financial and monetary subjects, in particular.
It contains a wide range of bibliographic resources on the history of economics, statistics, finance, and banking law, among other related subjects.
Tornquist Library
The Tornquist Library was founded in 1916 by Ernesto Tornquist y Cía., a traditional Argentine firm with immense prestige, and huge projections on the economic and financial life of our country.
Its collections show the founders’ interests and their efforts to contribute towards a better understanding of the Argentine economic and financial process, on the basis of local and international bibliography.
