General Management Office

It is responsible for the management of the BCRA and supervises the actions taken by the following deputy general management offices: Financial Regulations, Economic Research, Operations, Means of Payment, Central Services and Administration, and Information Technology and Organization. Moreover, it oversees the actions taken by the following senior management offices: Risk Assessment, Legal Affairs, and Legal Advisory, as well as the actions taken by the following management offices: International Affairs, Strategic Communications, and Public Relations and Cultural Heritage.

It reports to the Governor.

He joined the BCRA in 2002 as an Analyst, and has held several positions throughout his career within the institution, among which the most notable are: Foreign Trade and Exchange Statistics Manager, Foreign Operations Manager, Market Operations Senior Manager, Operations Deputy General Manager, and Financial Regulations Deputy General Manager. Before joining the BCRA, he worked for the National Bureau of International Accounts of the Argentine Ministry of Economy.

He was a Professor of Foreign Trade and International Payments at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA), having previously served as Professor of Public Economics.
