Registration for the financial education in the classroom program is open for teachers

Within the framework of the 2023 Financial Education Program, two consecutive virtual courses will be offered free of charge and give training credit to participating teachers. These courses are aimed at secondary school teachers of the general education cycle and the specialized cycle, in all modalities and orientations.

Within the framework of the 2023 Financial Education Program, two consecutive virtual courses will be offered free of charge and give training credit to participating teachers. These courses are aimed at secondary school teachers of the general education cycle and the specialized cycle, in all modalities and orientations, from public, private or community-managed schools, in those provinces that have signed an agreement with the BCRA (Chubut, Chaco, Formosa, La Pampa, Misiones, Neuquén, San Juan and Santa Fe).

1. Introduction to Financial Education | March / April

This course provides conceptual training and tools to improve financial decision-making skills in everyday life.

Training hours: 20 hours

* In La Pampa, a single edition will be held from March to September. It will be a 40-hour course called “Didactic Approach to Financial Education,” which will integrate the contents of both courses.

2. Didactic Approach to Financial Education | May / September

This course is designed to integrate financial education into the curriculum and enable students to develop financial skills and share their knowledge with the community. This is for those who have completed the first course or the 2022 Financial Education in the Classroom program.

Training hours: 30 hours.

More about Financial Education in the Classroom

Since 2020, more than 4,900 teachers—reaching more than 460,000 students from about 2,800 schools a year—have already registered. More than 1,345 teachers have completed the course. These teachers have worked with 39,339 students from 1,333 schools and will continue to work with different groups of students. In turn, students have shared the content learned with their community and families, reaching more than 92,000 people.
