From now on, the online catalog of our libraries will be available to search and find bibliographic information. The Koha online integrated library system offers access to the collections of both the Prebisch Library and the Tornquist Library.
The Prebisch Library, which specializes in the monetary and financial areas, holds more than 51 thousand books and brochures, and over 2 thousand regular domestic and foreign publications. In March 2005, the Prebisch Library was chosen as depository library of the International Monetary Fund and, since then, it has regularly received its statistical database.
The Tornquist Library was established in 1916 by Ernesto Tornquist and Co., and granted to the BCRA in 1975. Its collection holds more than 35 thousand books and monographs, and over one thousand regular publications and manuscripts from prominent figures in Argentine history from the beginning of the 19th century to the year of donation.
The reading rooms of our libraries are open to the public from Monday to Friday, 10 am to 3 pm.
