It directs, coordinates, and supervises the activities inherent to the verification of unauthorized financial intermediation and possible violations of the Foreign Exchange Criminal Regime Law.

It directs the activities related to the treatment of complaints for non-compliance with current regulations on import or export regimes for goods and services.

It directs the processes of formulation of charges and promotes the corresponding summary proceedings.

It promotes the approval of proposals for the resolution of the requirements for authorization and revocation of licenses, expansions, negotiations of share packages and other corporate aspects of the entities covered by the regulations of the Central Bank.

He worked as a consultant to the Council of Magistrates of the Nation. In 2004 he joined the BCRA, where he served as legal advisor. In 2011, he was appointed UIF’s Compliance Officer and since then has been a member of the country’s delegations to the FATF-GAFI and GAFILAT. He was appointed Coordinator to the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Committee of Mercosur’s Working Subgroup No. 4. He is an Expert on Evaluation of Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Systems by GAFILAT.

He has been Deputy Professor of Constitutional Law at the School of Law of Universidad Católica de La Plata and Assistant Professor at Universidad de Buenos Aires.

He has authored several articles in academic journals in Argentina concerned with monetary and financial issues, anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing, along with constitutional and administrative law.
