To lead, coordinate and oversee the activities inherent to the control of unlicensed financial intermediaries and to any potential breach of the Law on Foreign Exchange Criminal Regime.

To lead all activities related to the reports filed on non-compliances with current regulations concerning regimes for the import or export of goods and services.

To lead the processes for filing charges and to initiate any necessary inquiry proceedings.

To promote the approval of proposals requesting licensing and license revocation, expansions, stockholding trading and other corporate aspects of the institutions that fall within the scope of the regulations of the BCRA.

He worked as a consultant to the Council of Magistrates of the Nation. In 2004 he joined the BCRA, where he served as legal advisor. In 2011, he was appointed UIF’s Compliance Officer and since then has been a member of the country’s delegations to the FATF-GAFI and GAFILAT. He was appointed Coordinator to the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Committee of Mercosur’s Working Subgroup No. 4. He is an Expert on Evaluation of Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Systems by GAFILAT.

He has been Deputy Professor of Constitutional Law at the School of Law of Universidad Católica de La Plata and Assistant Professor at Universidad de Buenos Aires.

He has authored several articles in academic journals in Argentina concerned with monetary and financial issues, anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing, along with constitutional and administrative law.
