Standardized statistics on foreign direct investment
This page presents the standardized statistics on foreign direct investment in the country surveyed by the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic. Two sets of series are published: on the one hand, the positions and flows obtained from the Survey of External Assets and Liabilities, in force since 2017; on the other, the historical series derived from the Survey of Direct Investments in Resident Companies, which cover from 2004 to the end of 2016.
Both sets are disseminated with disaggregations by sector and by country, in accordance with current regulations and statistical cooperation agreements with the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (INDEC). Due to methodological and compilation differences between the two surveys, the series should not be compared with each other.
