Retail Exchange Rate

The exchange rates for the buyer and seller of the counter and for electronic transactions are recorded in the system by each reporting entity. The Central Bank only calculates the Retail Reference Exchange Rates offered in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires by weighting the exchange rates recorded by the entities adhering to the system, by the observed participation of the reporting entity in retail sales in the three calendar months prior to the immediately preceding month of the current month.
