The Debtors' Database of the Financial System, freely accessible through the website of the BCRA, incorporated new data.

The Debtors’ Database of the Financial System, freely accessible through the website of the BCRA, incorporated new data. In the case of debtors in category 1 (performing), the date from which they have been classified as such will be provided.

This measure will help individuals and companies to improve their access to financing through the submission of a positive credit history. In particular, low-risk individuals who already have financing in the system will be able to obtain more favorable conditions when applying for new loans.

This innovation will provide information on the date from which a debtor has been classified as performing in an ongoing basis in all the institutions, notwithstanding the potential existence of an intermediate period in which the debtor might have not been included in the Debtors’ Database.

By entering the taxpayer identification code (CUIT), employee identification code (CUIL) or identity code (CDI), the Debtors’ Database of the Financial System of the BCRA provides a report on the financing granted by financial institutions, financial trusts, non-financial credit or purchase card issuers and other non-financial credit providers, and on rejected checks. The BCRA, through these measures, provides more and better information for the financial and commercial market with the aim of increasing the levels of transparency in the financial system.
