The Central Bank of Debtors of the Financial System, freely accessible through the website of the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic (BCRA), incorporated a new piece of information. In those cases in which the debtor is in situation 1 (Normal), the date from which he or she is registered in such a condition will be specified.
This measure will help individuals and businesses improve their access to financing by exhibiting a positive credit history. In particular, it will benefit low-risk individuals who already have financing in the system to obtain more favorable conditions in the application for new loans.
This innovation will make it possible to know the date from which the debtor registers a normal situation in an uninterrupted manner in all entities, without prejudice to the fact that there was an intermediate period where he had not been included in the Debtors’ Center.
By logging in with a tax identification code (CUIT, CUIL or CDI), the Central Bank of Debtors of the BCRA’s Financial System offers a report on financing granted by financial institutions, financial trusts, non-financial issuers of credit or purchase cards and other non-financial credit providers and, in addition, rejected checks. This tool can be accessed freely, by entering here.
Through these measures, the BCRA provides more and better information for the financial and commercial market, in order to increase the levels of transparency in the operation of the financial system.
