As set out in the Executive Order 179/2025, the BCRA announces that the Ministry of Economy has settled the non-transferable bills payable to the BCRA. The BCRA received USD12,000 million in cash value for the Non-transferable Bills maturing on June 1, 2025 (full redemption), April 29, 2026 (full redemption), and April 3, 2029 (partial redemption).
These liquid funds granted by the International Monetary Fund as under a new agreement will contribute to strengthening the BCRA’s balance sheet.
