How to Recognize Phishing Attacks
Fake emails of this kind usually display some or all the following telltale signs:
1. Sender’s name: Most senders are unknown persons or persons that purport to be well-known figures, the first or last name of whom is usually misspelled.
2. Sender’s email address: It seemingly looks like the real address; however, any letter may be missing or added, or even replaced by a number. For example: bcra.net.ar (the right email address is bcra.gob.ar).
3. Subject and content: A case of phishing usually involves a request for immediate action lest an account is closed right away.
4. Links and attachments: The content usually redirects to links whereby addressees are asked to give information or download malware files.

If you are still a non-performing debtor and have already repaid your debt with the institution. How long does it take to be removed from the Database? If the debt repayment was made during the course of a given month, you should wait for the update of that month. Information updates are published near the end of the following month. To prove your current situation before the institution, you can show the certificates you have. Please note that the BCRA discloses the credit history of the last 24 months. You can check your current debt at the following link. https://www.bcra.gob.ar/BCRAyVos/Situacion_Crediticia.asp
Debtors appear only if they are registered with their tax identification number. If you registered with your ID number, you should check the DVD “Debtors’ Database of the Financial System”―published monthly by the Information Management Office of the BCRA―where you will find the entire database.
