The group of entities of the Argentine financial system has approved loans and in the process of doing so for $ 118,698 million, with the special line at a maximum annual interest rate of 24% launched by the BCRA.
The disbursement of loans to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) accelerated at a rate of 20% at the beginning of the week and, compared to last week, grew by 40% to reach the amount of $ 60,236.2 million.
In addition, the Argentine Guarantee Fund (FOGAR) has already reached $91,920 million that function as guarantees for financial institutions to have new credits. These loans are distributed 36.6% in public banks, 41.2% in banks with national capital and 22.2% in banks with foreign capital.
Of the amount disbursed, $2,974.8 went to companies providing health services, reached by the regulations beyond their size and within the framework of the national policy for the prevention of COVID-19.
The complete line of MSME financing approved by the BCRA is at least 220 billion pesos.
The credits were granted from the entry into force of the line on March 20 and until April 14.
