Information to participate in the 2018 Financial Innovation Program.

What you need to know to be part of the PIF 2018

How many participants does the team have to have?

Maximum 5. They must be over 16 years old and have a real address in Argentina.

Can a participant register for more than one project?

No, you can only participate in one project.

How long can projects be uploaded?

Until 31 July 2018 inclusive.

Can projects still be edited on the platform?

Yes, they can be edited and continue working until July 31.

What are the challenges of this edition?

Digitalization | Promote financial inclusion through digitalization.

Digital Payments | Develop digital payments infrastructure and promote its acceptance.

Alternative Scoring | Encourage the use of alternative information to expand and improve credit information reports.

Financial User | Promote transparency in financial services and financial education.

In the terms and conditions you have examples of products and services, only as a guideline.

What are the requirements in this first stage?

– Thematic field of the project.

– Brief description (problem identified and solution proposed).

– History of similar products or services in the market.

– Description of the operation of the project.

– Attach a presentation of the project following the guidelines mentioned above (in .pptx format). Suggested length 15 films.

Can the project contain ideas to improve an existing one?

Yes, as long as the project highlights what its contribution or innovation is.

I am an employee, can I upload a project?

Yes, it is not an impediment to be able to upload a project. Except for those persons who meet the requirements of subsections a) and c) of article 21 of the Bases and Conditions of the Program.

When are the results of the first stage communicated?

On August 20, the 10 selected will be published.

What happens to the selected ones?

They enter the Improvement stage where they will have the opportunity to improve their projects by consulting experts and industry references.

Does the Program have awards?

Yes, first place: $94,000; second place: $66,000; Third place: $40,000.

When are the winners defined?

In November, the 10 finalist projects will be presented at an event at the BCRA, and within this framework and with the requirements requested in the bases and conditions, the three winners will be defined.
