Monetary and Banking Conferences

Since 1996, the Monetary and Banking Conference of the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic has been a space for dialogue and debate on macroeconomic, monetary and financial issues. They are free and open access and bring together the academic community, specialists in the financial system and teams responsible for the design of public policies.

In each edition, conferences, thematic panels and presentations of research papers are developed, by national and international invited specialists, who analyze the challenges of monetary and financial policy in Argentina and the world.

Between 1977 and 1991, the Central Bank organized the “Monetary Economics and External Sector Conferences”, direct predecessors of the current Monetary and Banking Conferences. The available material can be consulted in the Central Bank Libraries through its online catalog.
