Know the limits of immediate transfers
What is the daily limit
You can make immediate transfers in pesos for an amount equivalent to 15,000 UVAs per day and per account.
In foreign currency, the limit is 12,500 US dollars or euros per day and per account.
How to ask for a limit extension
These limits can be extended for specific operations, at the request of the user. To apply, you must:
– Notify your bank in person or
– Use enabled electronic channels (home banking, mobile banking, etc.).
The authorization is usually temporary, usually for a specific day, and during those 24 hours you can transfer for the higher amount approved.
Transfers can be made every day, 24 hours a day.
What costs may apply
Transfers made by end-users of financial services are free of charge. For other cases, the costs depend on:
– Who sends the transfer.
– Who receives it (for example, business or micro-enterprise).
– Whether it is a transfer between own accounts or payments to third parties.
The scheme distinguishes between:
– Immediate transfers in general.
– Payments made via transfers (e.g. payments to merchants).
The commission table details in which cases a charge can be charged and which are free (microenterprises, small businesses, amounts and caps in UVAs and dollars).
