He manages the Bank and supervises the areas under his orbit.

The General Management reports to the General Management of the General Deputy Managers of Financial Regulation, Economic Research, Operations, Means of Payment, Administration and Central Services, and Systems and Organization; the main management of International Affairs, Risk Analysis, and Legal Affairs and Legal Advice; and the Public Relations and Cultural Heritage and Strategic Communication managements.

It depends functionally on the president.

He joined the BCRA in 2002 as an analyst, serving in different positions throughout his career at the Institution, among which are: manager of Foreign and Exchange Statistics, manager of External Operations, main manager of Market Operations, deputy general manager of Operations and deputy general manager of Financial Regulation. Prior to joining the BCRA, he worked in the National Directorate of International Accounts of the Ministry of Economy of the Nation.

He was a professor of Foreign Trade and International Payments at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA), having previously served as a professor of Public Economics.
