General Management Office

He oversees the Bank’s administration and supervises the matters under the responsibility of the Deputy General Managers that report to him: Deputy General Manager of Financial Regulation, Deputy General Manager of Economic Research, Deputy General Manager of Operations, Deputy General Manager of Means of Payment, Deputy General Manager of Administration and Central Services and Deputy General Manager of Systems and Organization, as well as the Main Managers of International Affairs, Risk Analysis, Legal Affairs and Legal Counsel; and the Managers of Public Relations and Cultural Heritage and Strategic Communications.

Functionally reports to the President.

He joined the BCRA in 2002 as an analyst, serving in different positions throughout his career at the Institution, among which are: manager of Foreign and Exchange Statistics, manager of External Operations, main manager of Market Operations, deputy general manager of Operations and deputy general manager of Financial Regulation. Prior to joining the BCRA, he worked in the National Directorate of International Accounts of the Ministry of Economy of the Nation.

He was a professor of Foreign Trade and International Payments at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA), having previously served as a professor of Public Economics.
