Reported Checks

In this database you will be able to consult checks reported as lost, stolen or adulterated. The information available here is provided by the financial institutions operating in the country and is published without alteration. Its dissemination does not imply agreement on the part of this Central Bank.

When making an inquiry:

Verify that the check number matches in the 4 places on the document where it is printed. If you find differences, it could be an adulterated document.

Check if the branch number and account number shown on the screen match the one printed on the document since the check number can be repeated in different checking accounts belonging to the same bank.

In the event that an entity appears more than once on the list, you must consult the cheque in each of the denominations shown.
