The Central Bank of the Argentine Republic established the "Dr. Raúl Prebisch" Annual Economic Research Award for university students and young professionals.

The Central Bank of the Argentine Republic established the “Dr. Raúl Prebisch” Annual Economic Research Award for university students and young professionals, with an edition each year from 2007 to the present.

Entries are being received for all three categories until Tuesday, October 31:

  • Annual College Student Award | Those who are studying Economics or related careers in public or private universities may participate. The First Prize in this category awards $ 35,000 and the Second Prize, $ 25,000
  • Annual Young Professionals Award | This category includes professionals with less than 6 years of graduation. The First Prize awards $ 70,000 and the Second Prize, $ 45,000
  • Annual Doctoral Thesis Award | Awards a single prize of $ 90,000
